Overview
Anyone from our lab or external members is welcome. We’re also open-minded to collaborating with other labs or people inside or outside JAIST.
Students will host a series of round-table discussions or talks on papers from NLP-related top conferences, in which they can learn:
- Staying on top of cutting-edge research. e.g., SOTA models and methods in various subfields
- Searching and figuring out their own research topics
- Training in reading English texts related to natural language processing
Recipe
Decide which conference to focus on. e.g., ACL, EMNLP, EACL.
Make a schedule draft for the reading plan.
- Volume of papers
- Frequency and duration of reading
Recruit participants and discuss how to move forward.
Record your progress and output.
